Brazil 2014: Fan-tastic Finger Foods, Round 2

Argentina and Germany are headed to the World Cup, and it’s time to start planning your final tournament menu. It’s a scientifically proven fact that you can’t watch a sports game without finger foods. Well, not really, but it seems that way to us! Finger foods are delicious, fun, and most importantly easy to make, meaning you spend less time in the kitchen and more time cheering on your favorite team from the living room. So when South America and Europe face off on Sunday, be sure to whip up one of these fan-favorite appetizers.

Note: Both of these recipes are in Spanish, but you can use Google translate to read them in English.

First up is Veronica Cervera from La Cocina De Vero with a recipe for Brazilian Yuca Croquettes. These are just like soft, cheesy, mashed potato tots, but with an exciting exotic ingredient. Not only does this recipe celebrate Brazilian culture, but it also gets you out of washing silverware. Need we say more? You can get the full recipe by clicking here.

Next up is Danielly Lara de Azevedo’s recipe for cheese skewers from her blog Un Dulce Hogar. These are super simple and super delicious, and they celebrate the colors of the Mexican flag! But be careful: when the game gets really heated, having sharp toothpicks in your hands may not be a great idea.  You can get the full recipe by clicking here.
