If you are normally not fond of cooking or don’t have much time to whip up something delicious in the kitchen, you can trust me when I say that this recipe will not only surprise, but you will actually enjoy the time spent preparing it. This is a recipe that is very easy to make and doesn’t have many ingredients, but is very tasty thanks to ingredients like shrimp, jalapeño, Cacique Queso Oaxaca, and the softness the Cacique Crema Mexicana brings to the mix. You will create a perfectly delicious pasta for any occasion.
If you don’t care for seafood, you can substitute the shrimp for grilled chicken strips or chunks, or if you prefer to go vegetarian, some vegetables like zucchini will work too.
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Prepare the pasta according to the directions on the packaging and do not forget to salt the water.
- Meanwhile, in a skillet, fry the finely chopped garlic with the butter for about 2 minutes. Then add the diced jalapeño and sauté for a minute. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2 more minutes. Then add the tomato and cook for another minute. Then add the Cacique Crema Mexicana and leave it cooking for another minute. Add the Cacique Queso Oaxaca and decrease the heat to a minimum. Cook until the cheese melts.
- Add the pasta to the mixture, and stir well. Serve immediately with chopped parsley on top.
