The Ultimate Destination for Día de los Muertos Recipes

Yum

Here at Cacique, we’re proud to announce the release of a new website dedicated to the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos, also commonly referred to as ‘Day of the Dead.’

The website DiadelosMuertosRecipes.com is designed to be the ultimate web destination for discovering both authentic Hispanic recipes, as well as modern interpretations of familiar dishes, to help celebrate this popular holiday. Recipes featured are the works of our collaboration with celebrity chef Aarón Sánchez and a select group of Latina Bloggers. The website also includes a history behind the holiday, which draws upon hundreds of years of tradition dating back to the Aztec civilization.

“Cacique® is dedicated to honoring and sharing the traditions and authentic recipes of Día de los Muertos,” said Tirso Iglesias, our Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “One of the most important traditions connected with this holiday is for a family to prepare the favorite dishes of their departed relatives. However, currently there are few websites that provide a complete overview of how to prepare classic Mexican dishes using only 100% authentic Mexican ingredients. We are proud to share this unique collection of recipes on DiadelosMuertosRecipes.com in hopes that we can help families embrace the amazing cultural traditions of this holiday.”

Some highlights include Calavera Queso Fresco Salsa Dip from Presley’s Pantry, Poblano and Corn Soup with Panela Cheese and Crema Agria from Nibbles & Feasts, and Mexican Cheese Skull Empanadas from Crafty Chica.
