  • Queso Fresco

A soft, fresh cheese that is similar in flavor and texture to a ricotta, but with more savory, milky notes. When heated, this cheese softens, but does not melt.

    Used for:

    • Stuffing, crubled over salads and even eaten as a snack.
    • Use instead of dry ricotta or dry cottage cheese.
    • Milder than crumbly goat cheeses, or feta.
  • Crema Mexicana

An everyday table cream that has a neutral, fresh-tasting flavor, similar in consistency to crème fraiche. It's pourable, rich and silky texture creates a shiny, white lace over sweet and savory dishes.

    Used for:

    • Drizzle as a topping or use it as a base for dips, soups and spreads.
    • Savory dishes such as flautas, tostadas, gorditas, enchiladas and chiles rellenos.
    • Pair with fresh fruit; strawberries, bananas or any mouth-watering dessert.
  • Beef Chorizo

Features an authentic blend of robust herbs and spices with a rich flavor of beef.

    Used for:

Once cooked, it can be eaten by itself, added to corn tortillas for tacos, and even place on top of avocado toast for a quick and easy snack.

  • Cotija

A robust and salty dry aged cheese, also known as the "parmesan of Mexican cuisine."

    Used for:

    • Grated or crumbled and used as a topping for tacos, quesadillas, soups, or salads.
    • Mixed into sauces as a flavor enhancer.
    • Softens when heated but does not melt.
  • Oaxaca

It has a mellow, earthy flavor and belongs to the mozzarella family, although it's more buttery with a far superior "melt."

    Used for:

    • Shredded, it can top refried beans, tacos, tostadas, and soups.
    • Sliced, it melts wonderfully for quesadillas and pizzas.
    • String into bite sized pieces for the perfect snack.
